A micro business in Mexico City
In January I made my second trip to Mexico City to see the sights and experience the second largest city in the world - approximately 22 to 26 million (depends where you measure from and what website you read).
It was my second time here and I love it ... especially the entrepreneurship of the people on the streets with many products and all the food!
While there I was able to help a friend Isabel with her idea to sell a Mexican dessert cake called Flan - made from sugar, eggs, evaporated milk, vanilla and her secret ingredient.

Isabel's Flan cake ready to sell
We created a plan of action; wrote a simple survey to take to local restaurants and cafes - designed to get orders. She has a great product - it tastes great and I am sure she is going to do well. She only needs to be selling 10 cakes a week to make a very nice weekly income.
