painting

here is a few photos of my abstract paintings. sold most recent painting below, called Transition.  offer an investment art product, contact me for more information.

painting is fun, made up of special moments, some of frustration, some of delight and some deeply spiritual.  I paint with passion, with abandonment.

acting

last acting project was performing multiple characters in 'To Die Like a Dog', story by Lesley Martin, play by Joan Street.  The last comedy production was, 'ShopTill You drop' by Alison Quigan and Ross Gumbley, directed by Joan Street.  had good reviews.

acted in a wonderfully funny theatre play called No Sex Please, We`re British. This is an hilarious farce, the longest running show in london's west-end and which starred Michael Crawford in his creation of Frank Spencer!

I played Brian Runnicles, the role made famous by Michael Crawford. It is a part very demanding of physical skill, timing and humour. I really enjoyed the role, especially working with such a talented team of actors.

The production before this was `Tzigane`, I played the rather laid back character of Harry Costea, the eldest son of a Greek family who struggle with the kiwi lifestyle. I also performed a song and played the guitar.

Tzigane was a tragicomedy focusing on a two day reunion of the family who originally came from Roumania to settle in Wellington. The father is Greek and while the children, Harry, Leon and Lisa have grown up as Kiwis their mother, Thea stills longs for her homeland. It’s the clash of cultures that provides conflict.
